Iron Plaid Robotics is and all-girls robotics team based out of Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart in Houston, TX. With six consecutive years of participation, the Iron Plaid Robotics team has been Lone Star Regional Runner-ups twice and won numerous awards such as the Engineering Inspiration Award, placing them in the top eight percent of teams worlwide and were the top ranked all-girls team in the competition.
FIRST Robotics is not a small program; the opportunity to build and be able to work side-by-side with top engineers and use industry standard materials in idustrial machine shops strives to give the girls hands-on experience and Corpac Steel Producs has proudly join the team of sponsors collaborating in such cause.
